Job Accountabilities:

  • Performs professional nursing care according to established standards and practice and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act for Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner
  • Responsible for delivery room management, stabilization, and on-going care
  • Work closely with residents and neonatal follows and share expertise with the team
  • Opportunity to work in quality improvement, patient safety, and research efforts

Job Requirements:

  • Appropriate Nursing degree (Master's level)
  • Licensed by the State of Florida as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner
  • Appropriate level of experience in specialty with knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
Munson Medical Center, Traverse City Michigan

Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan is seeking candidates to implement an NNP program in our Level 3B Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Our 20-bed NICU is a Regional Care Facility, which supports Northern Lower Michigan, through our air/ground transport program. We participate in the Vermont Oxford Network, and Regional NRP/S.T.A.B.L.E programs.

In collaboration with the Neonatologists, the role of the NNP’s will include patient management, attendance at high-risk deliveries, and Neonatal Transport. Other aspects of this opportunity include: sharing expertise with the team to develop protocols, developing education programs, and participating in unit-based shared governance groups.
